I don't use yeast in my pizza dough, flat, thin pizza dough w/ herbs. Yeast makes me swell!!
Flour Tortilla Recipe
by: Brezzie & Virginia Willaims
flour 3 cups (can also use wheat)
baking powder 2 teaspoons
shortening 4 - 6 tablespoons
warm water 1 1/4 cup (about)
salt to taste, I use a dash
Oregano, basil crush, spices you want 3-4 Tablespoons
cheese your choice, I grate over pizza-don't measure
Add warm water little @ time.
Until dough soft.
Made 2 pizzas' w/ little extra; but if I wouldn't have been in such a hurry, it would have just been 2 pizzas'......my little boy, did help.
I use my flour tortilla recipe & add herbs.
I cook dough before I add tomato sauce (w/ herbs & mushrooms) etc.
Tomato sauce (mushroom & herb), Roma tomatoes, zucchini
I slice them very thin, but us it all, I don't waste!
