Tight Budget Dates

Go to arcades nickel ones are the best.

Board games!! We have large family and budget doesn't include spending money on date night (we do go "out"  once every two months and  spend on just "us").

Funny classic Movies @ home w/ popcorn & root beer floats. WE love this!

Your local colleges/universities may have fun things to  do cheaper than other places and some are free.

Family Fun: We have the relative grown-ups ONLY over for board games & bring a dessert night.

 Asian Dinner Night:
WE draw slips of paper with these on them: board game; really nice dessert; beverages; game; Asian meat dish;  rice dish; appetizers (usually crab puffs). Once we  do the drawings we start a rotating list. THIS is grown-ups ONLY. NO excuses  NO kids. Love our kids but we need grown-up time too!

We cook a three course meal together. We are both great cooks.

Go to local ice cream shop.

Go to a drive-in movie.

Wildlife refuge - great to enjoy wildlife w/o having to watch the kids and NOT see anything.

Take a drive in the country......have a picnic and.......

WE talk.....
  • What is your favorite memory from our wedding day?
  • What are your favorite smells and sounds? What memories or emotions do they evoke?
  • Tell me about a book, movie, song, or work of art that changed the way you look at the world.
  • If someone offered us an all-expenses-paid second honeymoon anywhere in the world, where would you want to go and why?
  • What kind of volunteer work do you think you'd be especially well suited for?
  • Tell me about someone outside of your family who impacted your life as you were growing up?
