Dishwasher Soap Recipe

I just saw this yesterday for dishwasher soap.


Mix equal parts of:

1 cup Baking Soda
1 cup Borax
 1/2 cup Citric Acid (in canning section)
1/2 cup Kosher Salt -for spots
WHITE Vinegar in place of  jet dry or like products

Store in labeled container
Use 2 TBS per load

Tangerine Dishwasher Detergent

  • 2c. washing soda
  • 2c. borax
  • 20 drops tangerine essential oil (you can use whatever you want)
Combine all ingredients.  Use 2T. per load of dishes.


Super Easy Dishwasher Detergent

  • 2c. washing soda
  • 1c. borax
  • 1c. baking soda
Combine all ingredients.  Use 2T. per load of dishes.  If you find your glasses are getting a residue buildup, reduce amount to 1 1/2T.


Citrus Dishwasher Detergent

  • 2c. washing soda
  • 2c. borax
  • 6T. citrus acid powder
  • 25 drops grapefruit essential oil
Combine all ingredients.  Use 2T. per load of dishes.  You can find citric acid, or sour salt, at health food stores, stores that cater to home brewers of beer and wine, soap making supply outlets and online.

Orange DishWasher Soap ~ Homemade

Dish Washer Soap

1 cup Borax
1 cup Baking Soda

*MIX and store in air tight container or MASON JAR.

~~USE 1 tablespoon per load dishes & ADD into dishwasher ~

1 Tablespoon Orange Juice (squeeze & store in FRIG).

Per load.

Dishwasher Detergent

Here's a simple recipe for dishwasher soap:

• 1 cup of borax

• 1 cup of baking soda

• ¼ cup of table salt

• 1/4 cup  unsweetened lemon juice

16 loads @ 1 Tablespoon each load.

Save money and buy in bulk Or buy at local dollar stor.

*IDEA you'll want to try a small amount at first to see if you like the results.
